Whether you’re aiming to compete or simply want to play for fun, you’ll find a welcoming community here.
Adaptive Sports New England’s beep baseball team, the Boston Strong, offers a dynamic and inclusive opportunity for individuals who are blind or visually impaired to learn and play the fast-paced, exciting sport of beep baseball. Open to both youth and adults, this program is designed to be fun, empowering, and accessible to all—no prior experience required.
Beep baseball is an adapted version of traditional baseball, where the ball emits a beeping sound and the bases buzz, allowing players to locate them using sound. It’s a thrilling way to stay active, build confidence, and develop new skills in a supportive team environment.
As proud members of the National Beep Baseball Association, the Boston Strong travel to compete in tournaments across the country. However, our Sunday morning practices at Tufts University are open to all —whether you’re looking to train with the team or just want to try something new, get some exercise, and connect with others.
Practices are led by Head Coach Joe Quintanilla, who brings experience, energy, and a passion for the game.
