Youth Beep Baseball Clinics
Hear the sounds of the game and try out the sport that is America’s greatest pastime!
Calling visually impaired youth (ages 5-18)- join Adaptive Sports New England for our youth beep baseball clinics this October! Discover the thrill of hitting the beeping ball or running to buzzing bases in a fun and inclusive environment – no prior experience is required.
In these two-hour clinics, athletes will learn the basics of beep baseball, including hitting, fielding and base running. Instruction will be provided by the Boston Strong, Adaptive Sports New England’s blind baseball team. The only required equipment is a water bottle- we will provide the rest. Register today!
Participants must be able to walk or run without the use of assistive devices and independently follow age-appropriate coaching instructions in a way that supports a positive team environment. Eligible players should have a visual impairment, though total blindness is not required, since all participants play with a blindfold.
While we believe every child benefits from participating in sports, beep baseball is not designed to provide the specialized support that children on the autism spectrum or those with intellectual disabilities deserve to fully thrive in their athletic experience.
