The Boston Centers for Youth and Families has added Wheelchair Sports Week to its summer long White Stadium Sports Center August 12-15. Registration will open on Monday, July 28.
The White Stadium Sports Center serves youth ages 7-14, and Wheelchair Sports Week is appropriate for children of this age who can propel a manual wheelchair and who can participate in games independently. Children from the City of Boston and surrounding communities are welcome. White Stadium occupies the northern tip of Franklin Park in Boston’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood. The White Stadium Sports Center is open Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 am – 2:30 pm. There is no charge for this program.
