SUMMARY:Swim Lessons (Quincy)
DESCRIPTION:Held in partnership with the Hale Family YMCA and Simmons University \n\n\n\n\nAdaptive Sports New England’s swim lesson program is held in partnership with the Hale Family YMCA in Quincy and Simmons University. The lessons are overseen by Paralympian Michael Prout\, and the lessons are taught by YMCA professionals and Simmons swimmers. These lessons are great for children through their one on one student to teacher ratio\, where swimming skills can be developed and improved. \nAs with all Adaptive Sports New England programs\, this program is specifically designed for those with visual or mobility impairments. Participating children should demonstrate typical cognitive and behavioral development. While we believe that all children deserve and can benefit from learning to swim\, these programs are not designed to provide the special support that children on the autism spectrum or children with intellectual impairments deserve.  \nWe expect this program to fill up. If you would like to express interest or reserve a spot\, please fill out the interest form below. For ages 6 – 18.
