This past weekend Elise Morely and Meredith Koch traveled to Colorado Springs, Colorado to compete in the U.S. Paralympics Swimming World Championships Trials. Both had a great couple of events and were able to drop times despite the change in altitude. “Overall the meet went really well. Everyone swam hard, cheered each other on, and mutually commiserated about the altitude,” commented Koch. “I dropped a decent chunk of time from three of my four events and improved my technique / race strategy for all my events. Having Mike and Anna there was awesome as Elise & I were both able to make slight improvements to our stroke between prelims and finals. It was such a great experience and I’m motivated to take my training to the next level this fall!”
