The New England Paralympic Experience on November 16, held at Harvard, welcomed hundreds of people who played a dozen sports in three great facilities. We smiled a lot and saw a lot of happy, focused, and excited faces at the Paralympic Experience on Sunday.
Sharing Stories
Throughout the day, we saw old friends reconnect, and we saw the new friendships being formed on the court, track and rink. That combination of friendship and fun, and the excitement of play and competition, are the foundation of our commitment to adaptive sports in New England. We had a fantastic day, too, and we have asked athletes, family, friends and supporters to share their stories. Already, we have some
of the pictures from the day on the Adaptive Sports New England Facebook page. We’d love for you to share your story, and pictures if you have them, through Facebook, here, or anywhere.
The Paralympic Experience would not have happened without the tremendous contributions of our Harvard hosts, with leadership from Michael Mercier. Our 25 Co-Host organizations provided diverse sports experiences and information. Please thank them directly the next time you participate in one of their activities!
The Boston 2024 team shared their enthusiasm for bringing the Olympic and Paralympic Games to Boston, as well as their sweet t-shirts. To thank Boston 2024 be sure to Like them and Follow them on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
We’re grateful for all their support, engagement, and collaborative efforts.
